Student Affairs Committee

Composition

The Student Affairs Committee comprises six members: three principal or associate centre members and three student liaisons. The committee represents at least two of the universities involved in the Centre.

Responsibilities

• overseeing graduate students' and postdoctoral researchers' interests and their integration into the Centre
  
  
• Maintaining a database of student members of the Centre
  
  
• Allocating travel grant monies to graduate students through the Centre's Student Travel Grant programme
  
  
• Choosing recipients for the annual postdoctoral supplement and biennial Postdoctoral Fellowship
  
  
• Planning the CRLMB student research day, in collaboration with the Outreach Committee
